This is a very sturdy countertop and was an excellent addition to my condo. Comes in a large and heavy box, but it is mostly built already. It is very stable and does not have much give/wobble to it, which puts me as ease.The frame is made of steel and countertop material is HPL.
I’m honestly so impressed with this kitchen island—it’s not just a pretty piece; it’s super functional too. The French-inspired design is gorgeous in person, especially with that granite-look top and the lovely metal detailing. It really adds a classic, timeless charm to the space without feeling too ornate.The surface is practical, it looks like concrete but much lighter and more resistant. I’ve already put it through some light kitchen chaos (spills, a few scrapes from pots and trays), and it holds up beautifully. No stains, no scratches and super easy to clean too. Structurally, it’s solid. The metal frame is sturdy and has a beautiful aged finish that gives it even more character.The lower shelf is super spacious, I use it to store some of my bigger kitchen items and even a few baskets for linens and supplies. The built-in towel racks are such a thoughtful touch too, great for quick cleanups or hanging utensils. I highly recommend it if you want a piece that’s pretty and works!
Stylish looking island has a wrought iron look that is reminiscent of a French bistro.Assembly was straight forward. All metal pieces, screws etc. were well machined and drilled properly to make it fit together easily. It took approx. 30-40 minutes to assemble, the manual provided was easy to follow.The metal work has been well made, metal is strong and sturdy, with a textured black powder coating.The four leg posts each have a round bell shape ball that adds a really nice detail to the look.The metal grate style bottom rack provides plenty of storage space for cookware, pottery, basket of onions, potato’s.There is a towel bar on either end of the counter top, another nice detail adding character to the look.The table top counter is 1 3/8 inch thick, which is thicker than the average counter top.Granite style pattern to the table top is a very classic, simplistic and clean looking counter.This is a great addition to your kitchen or pantry!
